Cleanliness drive was celebrated at STEM World School, Barrackpore on 3.11.2017. The children of pre-primary under the able guidance of their teachers undertook this activity. The motive was to spread awareness among the children about how to keep their surroundings clean. The pupil of old pre-primary section (Play Group, Lower Nursery (A, B & C) cleaned the field first. Following them were the students of Upper Nursery A, B & C who did the cleaning of the field. Four dustbins were placed at the four corners. Children of old pre-primary approached the middle landscape by cleaning and putting things from the right side and the students of new pre-primary followed the same pattern from the left side. Next, together they headed towards the school auditorium to watch a video on cleanliness.
The entire event was planned out to teach the importance of cleanliness in our lives. The essence of this drive was put in four placards bearing the message:
