Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics—STEM, and therefore, STEM education — is the process of teaching that integrates these four disciplines to promote real-world experience, teamwork, and the authentic application of technology. Additionally, it also promotes discovery, problem-based learning, and project-based learning.

Ms. Shaw heads India's leading bio pharmaceutical enterprise, Biocon. Named among TIME magazine's 100 most influential people in the world, she is globally regarded as a successful and leading technocrat. She has been a pioneering force in the world of biotechnology. In recognition of her efforts towards the progress of science she has been honored with numerous international and national awards, including the Padma Bhusan, India's highest civilian award. Ms. Shaw is a part of the Prime Minister's Council on Trade & Industry in India and the US-India CEO Forum, besides various other prestigious trade bodies.
Dr. John Abraham is the former Principal of the Scottish Church College and a true academician. He has presented research papers in many international conferences around the world and has several research papers in his credit. He is a Peer Team Member of National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a quality assessment wing of University Grants Commission and also Member of Governing Boards of several schools/colleges in Kolkata.
Cynthia Bricston has donned various roles over the years in the field of Education in the US. She leads in alignment of curriculum and instruction with standards, training and evaluation. She has developed and utilized community resources/liaisons to enrich the school community. She is also an adept user of data analysis to improve student achievement. Her other proficiencies include creating teacher evaluations to embed competency in diversity and technology to achieve objectives and mission of the school.
Mike Glanton has proven he can deliver results to the community. He is actively involved on school committees, the Clayton County Chamber of Commerce and Clayton County Economic Development initiatives. Mike continues to work hard to see that children receive the best educational opportunities possible. He is also a proponent for additional state spending to support our schools. He believes that our success and growth is connected to our higher education programs.
Mrs. Hilda Peacock, a senior school teacher and Students' Welfare Officer in Bishop Cotton Boys School, Bangalore (1987-1998) left to join La Martiniere for Girls, Kolkata as Principal in June 1998. She again joined Dr. Graham's Home, Kalimpong as Principal in the year 2011. Presently she is on the advisory board of many schools in India including Dr. Graham's Home and St. Paul's School, Darjeeling as well as Vice Master on the Council of Serampore College. Mrs. Peacock is also on the board of World Vision and the Chairperson of Leadership Development Programme for Compassion, East India. Both these are NGOs that deal with marginalized children.
