DURGA PUJA CELEBRATION 2020

On the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja, the carnival of positivity and the most popular festival of Bengal as well, STEM World School organised a virtual cultural programme, on 20th October, 2020, where students from Playgroup to Class -II participated with immense joy and happiness. Unlike previous years, celebrations have been restricted to online medium this year owing to devastating outbreak of the world wide pandemic.

The virtual platforms were lit up with the smiles and enthusiasm of the little angels and the vibrant hues of the charming dresses that they wore as a part of the festive celebration. Solo and chorus songs, dances, recitations on Durgotsav were presented by the STEM buds as a festive mark of the victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahisasur. The mesmerizing performances of all our students were truely commendable.
The young minds also manifested their talents in innovative art works and in making various craft items.

The motto of the celebration was to hail the triumph of good over evil. So irrespective of pandemic induced lockdown, with the new normal way this year's Durga Puja celebration was held with absolute fervour and zeal too.

The event ended with Shri Durga mantra:
Ya devi sarva bhuteshu, shanti rupena sangsthita.
Ya devi sarva bhuteshu, shakti rupena sangsthita.
Ya devi sarva bhuteshu, matri rupena sangsthita.
Ya devi sarva bhuteshu, buddhi rupena sangsthita.
Namastasyai, namastasyai, namastasyai, namo namaha
