LIFE CYCLE OF A CHICKEN

A life cycle approach can help us to make choices. It implies that everyone in the whole chain has a responsibility and a role to play, taking into account all the relevant impacts on the environment and the society. On the basis of this, the class II students of STEM World School has tried to show the importance and impact of life cycle of a hen which implies to all living beings through a scrap book activity. On average, a chicken will live between three to five years (some breeds are known to live longer), and have three distinct life phases: egg, chick and chicken stage. In each stage a chicken will have differing needs to ensure they continue to develop healthily throughout their lifetime.
