Weekly STEM ACTIVITY of class 1 students where students are exploring a fun and easy science experiment. All things around us on earth experience an invisible force called air pressure, exerted by the surrounding atmosphere. In this experiment the water inside the bottle experiences pressure from the air column on top of it. When we fix the balloon on the neck of the bottle the air inside the balloon also adds to the pressure and the pressure increases. This pushes the water in the bottle down and it flows out through the straw, creating an amazing fountain. This experiment can be used to introduce new ideas and concept of science to the children.
