‘We locate a spark to fan it to flame' STEM World School celebrated India's 74th Republic Day along with Saraswati Puja with great eclat. On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja, we have tried to accomplish the talent of one of our budding sculptors, Aditya Saha of class 9 A, who has sculpted the idol of the goddess of knowledge, Maa Saraswati, this year for the puja at school. Our main objective was to boost the talent of a budding artist and also to inspire other students who are gifted with different talents. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. The programme began at 9:30 a.m. The National Flag was hoisted by our respected Principal, Mr Soumitra Mallik which was followed by the puja. Many students, most members of the staff and many former students gathered at the school premises to celebrate the day. The fragrance of flowers, the aroma of the burning camphor in lamps filled the school environment with peace and positivity. The celebration came to a closure with the distribution of ‘Prasada’.
