A Felicitation Ceremony was conducted on the 5th of July,2023 at 11.00 am in the Sukanta Sadan, Barrackpore for the successful outgoing Class X and XII students (Arts, Science and Commerce) who had cleared the board Examination 2023.The Felicitation Committee of Prabhat khabar conducted the Ceremony and the Chief Guest who graced the occasion was Medical superintendent of AIMS, Kalyani,Dr. Ajay Mallick, Commander Colonel Hemant Kumar Jha, Barrackpore police Commissionerate Alok Rajoriya, Commander of second Battalion Ndrf Gurminder Singh, founder of Biswa Sevashram sagha Samreswar Brahmachari and the founder of Prabhat Khabar Shri Sushil Kumar. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, assisted by the Principal of Kingstone college, Dr.Sudipta Ghosh. Mr.Aloke Rajoriya,Barrackpore police Commissionerate , enlightened the students about the essential tools that each student should carry as they continued with their onward journey in life; these tools being individual uniqueness, faith in life, acknowledgment of the gift of creativity, making positive choices consciously and gratitude built on optimism and inspiration. After the Principal’s address of Kingston Educational Institution, Mr.Hirendra Chandra Singh,former anchor of Rajbhavan, West Bengal conducted the felicitation ceremony where the students of different schools,passed Class X were awarded. Our school toppers were honoured by the social worker Mr Pritpal Singh.He distributed mementos and certificates issued from the Prabhat Khabar. The Chief Guest, in his speech, spoke about the importance of empowering the girl child through education and this would directly empower society as a whole. He advised the students not to waste time or opportunity and instead work towards bringing honour and pride to society. The programme was followed by Guru Samman and the group photograph of the Students. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mr Sushil Kumar (founder of Prabhat khabar) after which refreshments were served to the Chief Guest, the teachers and students. It is an honour for me to stand there and embrace this proud moment of this auspicious occasion.The achievements and successes of our students, who have worked hard to reach their goals and make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others are really commendable.
