The Regional Swimming Tournament 2023, was organized under the aegis of CISCE and was hosted by DOUGLAS MEMORIAL HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL, BARRACKPORE, Kolkata. It was organized to provide the student a platform to hone their skills and challenge themselves against equally talented competitors, giving them both exposure and experience. The event boasted of a plethora of competition that pushed the children to perform to their physical best and show off the fruits of their labour, such as: • Under 14 (Boys & Girls) Swimming • Under 17 (Boys & Girls) Swimming • Under 19(Boys & Girls) Swimming • Under 14, 17, 19 (Boys & Girls) Relay Swimming We, at STEM World School understand the value of such sporting events as they vitalize the body and mind, provide a great way to exercise, and motivate them mentally. With this in mind we sent our talented students to participate in the events including Aindrila Das 6A, Anish Saha 6B, Rwitoja Ghosh 6B, Srishti Bagchi 6C, Eshan Majumder 7A, Sohom Sen 7A and Daakshi Mayukh Barman 7B. We would especially like to convey our heartiest congratulations to Aindrila Das from Class-6 Section -A She has made us incredibly proud with her hard work and diligence, earning the silver medal in all three of her participated events. In recognition of her incredible achievements she has also been granted the great honour of participating in the in CISCE National Swimming Championship. We would like to convey our pride in her victory and wish her the very best for her future endeavours.
