Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most important festivals in India. It is the festival of bond, love and togetherness. On this auspicious day, all the ladies bind Rakhi on the hands of their brothers and friends whom they treat as brothers. The meaning of Raksha is to protect and Bandhan is the bondage of love, affection and care. This festival signifies brotherhood so lovingly that Rabindranath Tagore also observed Raksha Bandhan among the Hindus and Muslims to protest against the partition of Bengal in 1905. The essence of binding Rakhi can be observed in any relationship like friends, parents and children, and even students and teachers. This festival is holding its piousness with dignity since ages. This year also the little sparkles of joy of Pre-Primary of STEM World School are happily celebrating Raksha Bandhan with love and care for each other. Let's enjoy the clicks.
