The Latin word for ‘extempore’ means “at the time”. Extempore speech is an impromptu expression of thoughts which culminates into a self-composed speech, the topic for which the candidate receives on spot. The Extempore Competition at STEM World School was held on 27th September, 2023 in the school auditorium, from classes 6 to 11 in all the three languages i.e. English, Hindi and Bengali. The participants were divided into two groups. Group A was for classes 6-8 and Group B was for classes 9-11.The dynamic children participated in the competition and shared their intriguing thoughts upon the topics provided. Through this event the children were able to showcase their talent for impromptu speeches. Their passion and dedication was appreciated by one and all. The main purpose of this event was to serve as a means of encouragement for the students ushering them towards a bright future ahead.
