Interhouse Recitation and Music Competition

Music and rhythm binds our soul, hearts and emotions. It cheers the spirit and lightens the heart. An Inter House Singing / Recitation Competition was organized at STEM World School on September 29, 2023 in the school auditorium. The theme of the competition was 'Nature'. Students from classes I to VII participated in the competition. The purpose of the competition was to bring out the singing talent as well as the poetic talents of the students. Through this program children learnt to express their feelings and ideas in the form of music and rhythm. Each class prepared a song and a poem under the guidance of their teachers. Children sang different songs and recited poems with lots of passion and confidence based on the given theme. The melodious songs and the poetic talents pulled the heartstrings of the audience. Each class showed their mastery over voice modulation, pitch, rhythm and tone. The children showcased a sense of pride, self-esteem and self- confidence through this competition. Audience thoroughly enjoyed the mellifluous songs and poems which impressed them. The confidence, the tonal quality and the enthusiasm of each students were praise worthy. The competition was graced by the esteem presence of the judges and were well appreciated by them. The competition was really a great success.
