The Annual Sports Extravaganza of STEM World School was an exhilarating showcase of enthusiasm and talent, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork among our students. The day commenced with a vibrant opening performance of the Surya namaskar, Swagatam andigniting the atmosphere with infectious energy. Our Chief guest, Smt Anasuya Chakraborty, Officer in charge of the Community Policing Wing, Social Media Monitoring Cell, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate was then felicitated by the blooming buds of our school. Then our Honourable Principal addressed the parents highlighting the school’s achievements and enrichments in different fields in the current academic year. Students eagerly participated in various track and field events such as Flat race, Toffee race, Juice race and Blast the Balloon Race, showcasing their agility, speed, and sportsmanship. The races were the highlight, with the young athletes sprinting with zeal, cheered on by their peers and parents. These events were interspersed with vibrant and beautiful drill performances by the children using colourful props and executing amazing choreography. The sportsmanship displayed was commendable, with participants exhibiting grace in victory and resilience in defeat. Every student’s effort was celebrated, reinforcing the values of participation and fair play. The Annual Sports Extravagnza concluded with a prize distribution ceremony of the sub junior levels and a first day tally of the House points, recognizing and applauding the efforts and achievements of our budding athletes. It was a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and the celebration of sports, leaving lasting memories for all involved. We all look forward to the second day of the sports festival where the junior and senior division will get a chance to show their mettle in The Annual Sports Day 2023.
