The students pledged to purify their consciousness and create a healthy society, by promising to try to behave harmoniously, maintain honesty as much as possible and live a drug-free life. This was followed by a wonderful song highlighting the habit of practising restraint in enjoyment and consumption, practising hard work, self-reliance and simplicity. The headmistress addressed the students teaching them to practise observation, introspection, and peaceful co-existence in school and family life. The celebration taught the students how to fulfill the dream of a happy, peaceful and successful life through Anuvrat Sadhana Sutras, how by incorporating simple and easy exercises of restraint in every area of life and living an Anuvrata lifestyle will prove to be an invaluable contribution to a sustainable and constructive future.
