Collins Learning resources are aligned with the principles and the vision of the NCF 2003.Their books focus on: • Recognizing the primary of formative years (ages 3-8), which includes building foundational literacy, numeracy and awareness of one’s environment. • Adopting a flexible, play based approach for foundational education, responsive to diverse learning needs. • Encouraging respect for diversity and local context in all curriculum and pedagogy. • Fostering child - centred, inquiry based, discovery – based, discussion based and analysis based learning. Outcomes of the workshop: The workshop ensure that the key learning goals from the NCF 2003 are met comprehensively. The NCF provides a roadmap to deliver the principles, objectives and guidelines for the educational landscape in India. The learning should be value based not only fun based.
