At STEM World School, we believe that incorporating chess into the school environment provides a wealth of benefits, supporting the growth of critical thinking, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities. Chess fosters focus, patience, and sportsmanship, all while nurturing intellectual growth. It also encourages creativity and enhances social skills, making it an invaluable tool for strengthening students’ cognitive abilities and character. With this vision, we hosted the Inter-House Chess Competition for students from classes 8 to 12, giving them the opportunity to engage their minds and enhance their thought processes. The students participated with enthusiasm, making for an intense and exciting event, where Ramanujan House emerged victorious, demonstrating their remarkable skills and talent.
